Student Leadership

Here at The Holmesdale School we value student leadership as part of the overall enrichment of a young person's life both within the wider curriculum and in supporting their leadership aspirations for future careers. Student leadership is crucial to shaping the culture of our school, through the ECCO values, as it empowers students to take ownership of their learning experience and encourages them to develop important skills such as:

When our students are given the responsibility to lead in a variety of roles at Holmesdale,they feel a sense of pride in contributing to the school community. This helps to create a positive and inclusive school environment where students are trusted, feel supported and are valued. Additionally, our student leaders in the 6th form are excellent role models for the younger students. This inspires others to get involved and strive to become student leaders of the future. 

Ultimately, our student leadership program fosters a sense of belonging and collaboration among the student body, teachers and staff, leading to a more vibrant and enjoyable school culture.
